The first arête right of the lighthouse fence. Excellent protection. Find the 2 carrot bolts at the top and abseil down the arete to 2 carrot belay at halfway ledge , a few meters left. Climb up passing 10 bolts , a couple of cams and a thread (120cm sling handy). Including top and bottom anchors the climb requires 14 boltplates. The first ascent started from a higher stance and requires three less brackets.
- Ethic: inherited from Point Perpendicular
Point Perp is predominantly a trad crag. There has been more bolting recently but this is a particularly contentious topic. A lot of the bolts are the traditional Aussie carrot and it would be a good idea to have at least half a dozen keyhole hangers before going to the Point for the first time.
