My closest attempt yet trying to onsight 19 trad! My foot slipped on the crux but somehow managed to stay on, lost the battle only on the final hand crack running low on gear and stamina. Damn why did I leave the hexes on the ground!?

The start felt a bit scary, mostly because it's really hard to protect - I could only place one decent black alien.. Then pretty much a huge runout until you get to the piton... so definitely need to have a strong head game to appreciate this route. Then it's fairly easy terrain. The wide stemming moves at the top are quite cool... The route wonders to the left quite a but, so probably a good idea to bring lots of extenders... I think I got a little bit off route into the moss land towards the end... Definitely worth a lap, but probably wouldn't rush to do that one again.

Quite an interesting climb! Definitely gets you thinking in a few spots... I did it with two ropes, as recommended in the book and didn't regret it (although most of the gear was placed on the left). The roof moves are super cool!

Great to finally get this one done. Have had a few little sessions on it over the years, felt strong and good conditions today, smashed it up. Who would have thought getting on and off a slopey rail could be that much fun. One of Toohey's better problems I think.

Missed the jug over the lip on onsight attempt. Got it second shot. Nice crux boulder and the top is no giveaway. Although it looks a little contrived the line is obvious when you are climbing it. I think this will settle at grade 25 unless your a shortie. (2)

Cool! Was in a weirdly engaged-but-calm headspace this time; even though each move didn't feel secure and perfect I kept to the beta and did each move without much extraneous thought. Using imagery in the days between attempts helped heaps with this; Also, warming up on the Cliffboard. Learnt a lot on headgame, face-climbing, and projecting. (For reference as this isn't on theCrag yet: onsighted Time for Chai (26) same day, over an hr haha. Hardest send and onsight today!)

Wasn't going to try on lead but Kieran inspired me , second shot stuck the move to the first bolt the cruised from there. FYI height information on this climb is not accurate first bolt would be at 4m with the first set of anchors more likely 8-9m good ground fall potential after the first bolt but easy moves.

Set up a top rope to check out the top of the climb and clean up some of the higher holds. Worked the top section 1nce to see how it was after the first bolt then had a full shot. Went really well took 3 shots to stick the bigger move to the hold next to the first bolt then easy from there.
