Ascents of Layaway Traverse

Alpine start. Went first go. Started matched on furthest left sidepull as described in "Spork". Thanks Jack for helping with beta on Saturday.

Wrecked myself a bit sussing beta. Conditions got better the later it got! Left around 9pm after suffering a flapper.

One attempt. Popped off.

Very happy with this attempt given that I haven't had a serious go in it in over a year. Will go with slightly cleaner beta or not leaving it till the end of the session.

Super flowy problem. Really good.

Topo is a bit misleading. Traverse along and under the arete up the other side (v1)

Moves sorted.

The project for the evening! Went R - L which made the end pretty cruxy. Was super fun re-learning to keep my head in the hands through long pumpy problems without losing my cool. Awesome sequences through this!

Some big moves and tricky feet see you through to the end.

Did left to right. Heel hooked left foot to reach the rail. Dynoed to a pocket finish then traversed right to the end rail. Super fun technical climb with a couple of heel hooks, rails, pockets and dyno. Has it all.

Pumpy as!

I topped out as for rail throw, if you are supposed to top out at the V1 ill have to do it again!

Deserving of a star, I reckon. Some cool moves, and a lot of em! Now for the circuit version (There And Back Again):D
