Ascents in Tasmania having Beta

Around V11 to even just get your feet into the roof, very very hard and attempted to get both feet into the roof a good 100 times, managed it somewhat once or twice but immediately exploded off the holds. Very very hard to establish. Landing flooded in around 2016 and usually has a good 20cm of water underneath.

Managed the link into Darkside once but still didn't manage to do the crux of Darkside. Very cool and tensiony moves leading into the even better Darkside. Flooded in 2016 with usually around 10 to 20cm of water underneath.

worked it for around 4 hours straight,....got into the crux several times after a bit of sussing out the moves, but man, this thing is hard! Heaps of fun though,...will be back on it SOON!!

worked it again today with Marine,...only for about 20 minutes, couldn't stick the pinch out left anymore,...better friction next time

got to a new high point on first attempt,...then spent another 20 or so attempts on trying to avoid the gnarly swing. Feeling closer to getting this done sometime soon

got to a new 'horizontal highpoint' today. Psyched!

Hard start into some really dope movement

Still hard but managed to solidify the moves into the crux, followed by a very hard pull to the little crimpy ear above. Didn't manage to do that move at all. Top still needs cleaning, mega line!

Amazing that there is a line straight up the middle of this face. Might be v10 in better conditions.

Amazing line, figured out the moves up to the big move to the lip. Definitely feels doable, will be back for this one, preferably with a spotter.

Finally got up this thing! Spent a good few sessions making no progress at all, was ready to give up this session when I had the novel idea to try a different beta, stuck the crux move then did it a few goes later. I always struggle grading things on the mountain, could be 10 or 11.

Wow I am super stoked! This was a beautifully slopey + technical climb! Piecing together the movements and then finding such a good flow on it felt unreal! Definitely a classic in my books

Finally got to try out this wicked climb! I am hoping it turns out to be a project to continue working on, which depends a bit on removing the giant spike of a rock that has randomly rolled underneath it. May take a deal of effort.

Snowy send! I loved starting the climb without the heel-toe cam in, despite being a bit contrived for taller folk. I would still definitely recommend it for the high quality moves!

Wow I was not expecting this! Such a beautiful day out and a ridiculously fun and complex climb! It flows incredibly well, includes power, tension, and a bit of spice

Gave it a ton of attempts and only was able to hit the second bump. No luck after that

Came pretty close to flashing this mega classic! Fell at the second move, hopped back on from the pinch and right start hold and managed to get to the top. Definitely will need to come back to send with fresh skin, water and energy!

Three sessions on this in a week was a bit much for my skin and body to handle but i'm super stoked about the progress made. Was amazing having such a big crew and so many stoked people to climb with! Definitely have to get back on this asap

Had very good progression up to crux, constantly getting a move further until dish but kept falling removing the toe. Definitely will go very soon next time I have a sesh on it. too bad I live in Brissie.

More attemts today but wasn't feeling strong on the first nor last move. Will definitely come back to revisit this gem.

Good fun, not much harder than the hang start, first couple of moves take it out of you though

A project that I tried quite a bit last season. Surprisingly went in a few tries first session back on it. No idea about the grade really but it adds some hard moves into Angel's on the Sidelines so 11 seems to make sense.

A fun bit of contortion to make this one work.

I’ll give into the peer pressure and suggest 33. The first in Tassie when confirmed. Originally, I thought once sticking the crux move I’d take it to the top making it a grade or two easier… however, I stuck the crux about 10 times and continued falling off the top for days after. Thanks Gazza for bolting the future.

Very hard first move, finally figured out how to lift off the ground though,....looking good, but first move throwing for the slopers seems to be the crux.

worked it for two days just before new years,...first section easy, second section pretty easy but linking the two,....that one move through the roof mono....hard....will go back soon

Surprisingly can pull on fairly easily and reach the second move statically. Transferring weight over to the right gaston and feet through is silly hard

jumped on Antichrist today for the first time, pretty hard, need to go back with more time

worked it with Marine and Simon for a good 4 hours. Have done all the moves and almost linked half of the second half. So first half done, last quarter almost done, middle needs some more work!

worked it for another couple of tries today, didn't really feel much closed, but getting off the ground seemed a bit easier.

Had another quick play and surprised my self by moving from under the bulge up through into the 'hole'. Makes me psyched that this is doable!
