Hot and in the sun, plus bad decisions got me a proud dog, but keen to try it again next time, and I reckon I could do it. Maybe. No time to try again today as flying out in a few hours!

Mega mega day out!! So much fun!!! I led the first pitch, and got my leg twisted in the rope trying the hideous mantle move at the top, had to untwist it, spanned out on to little crimps then took a big whip. Bold effort by Liz on the second pitch, hard, sustained and runout! Very impressive. Stoke was high! Incredible fun.

Stoked!! Second session. Felt far away and scaryyy on the first go, but dialled it quickly. TR send on 3rd burn of the day, lead send next go! Thought it’d be a scary lead with some spicy clips, but head game was great, and didn’t even fathom any runouts. Found a really nice flow, and moves that felt insecure went smoothly. Bit burly, bit slopey, bit crimpy, bit pumpy. Quite nice indeed. First 22 lead!

This is pretty great, but a bit reach dependent I think. I dit it all first go, but after watching Emma working out the hard bit, and pre-clipped to her gear, so only really led from the second bolt/crux. Still really awesome, can't wait to lead it properly and get onto pitch 2 to get humbled.

One of the best trad days of my time here, we started at about 4pm after some stressful scrambling to get up there, as we ascended we got to see the city in day, then in sunset, then in the night as the last of the light escaped topping out. Fun 50m rappel in the dark was adventurous, thankfully we both had our head torches. Such a beautiful area and a wonderful day out climbing! HB Liz

Great fun! The tree down low could do with a little prune, but the climbing sneaks around it well. Two large movable blocks just before the top out on the second pitch. One is sitting on the last chockstone in the chimney, the other is to the right. Big tall thing you want to bridge off. Be wary. Hard to not use either of them.

1.5 stars I reckon. Fourth pitch (originally Telopea) is probably the left finger crack. We climbed the right Terri cracks - exciting and fun, but also a bit dirty/mossy/little loose. Still a recommended variant though!

Simuled with Dylan while Lee made his own way. Unknowingly did this with a kidney infection and a fever, so it was a hard day out. But great to get up high and the gully descent was also cool in it's own right. Nighttime trip to the hospital to cap it all off.
