did the direct start, then variation and then the traverse variation, 1.5 stars?

Very poor protection without active pro, not many options for passive pro. Runs out a lot

Got lost on start of second pitch. Rather than straight up, slightly to the left of the rap chains is better.

Didn't see the bolt runner. Lowered off after Pitch 1.

seemed a bit longer than 66m and had its fair share of rubbish quality rock

Nice fun climb once you reach the flake.

Nice slabby moves into the flake. The flake pitches are quite pleasant

Might have done the direct start, an edgy experience. 10m up before I could get a piece of gear in; this route could really do with a bolt or three as the first section up to a small ledge (suggested in the guide as an optional belay) is certainly harder than a grade 8. The rest of the climb is great, with a fun corner crack section and mainly jug hauling on pitch 2.

Followed Steph's trad lead on a very nice climb with a great view.

In one spot the most run-out trad lead I have ever had. Otherwise a nice climb with awesome views. Descent was only slightly easier ;-)
