Unique Features And Strengths:: Located in the middle of the city.
Description:: "The Cutting" an old quarry in the middle of the city. Plenty of bouldering and potential for top rope and trad climbing. lots of loose rock and sharp ledges, I know of one rope being cut halfway through while rappelling. be careful and use rope protectors.
Access Issues:: -Climbing here on the weekend is best when the carpark is empty due to alot of loose rock. -Top roping has been done here but may not be allowed, do not be suprised if your asked to move on.
Approach:: Park in the car park then cross the fence and your there.
Where To Stay:: Obviously NO CAMPING
Ethic:: Stay well away from peoples cars.
