Summary

Located in the middle of the city.

Description

"The Cutting" an old quarry in the middle of the city. Plenty of bouldering and potential for top rope and trad climbing. lots of loose rock and sharp ledges, I know of one rope being cut halfway through while rappelling. be careful and use rope protectors.

Access issues

-Climbing here on the weekend is best when the carpark is empty due to alot of loose rock. -Top roping has been done here but may not be allowed, do not be suprised if your asked to move on.

Approach

Park in the car park then cross the fence and your there.

Where to stay

Obviously NO CAMPING

Ethic
