Description:

A large boulder next to the creek, as the name suggests this rock is a favourite for people jumping into the cold palm creek water.

Access Issues: inherited from Palm Creek (Pirvate Land)

Make sure to get permission off property owners who live on site, or wait till the "Palm Creek Folk Fest" during the queens birthday long weekend when the area is open to the public.

Approach:

once you have located the plam creek boulder at the end of the walking track, walk straight down to the creek then turn right and follow the creek. the boulder is quite obvious as it backs onto the water and is much larger than surrounding rocks.

DO NOT CLIMB ON THE FAR LEFT ARETTE FACING THE CREEK, INDIGINOUS PEOPLE ONCE SHARPENED STONE TOOLS ON THIS SECTION OF ROCK. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NATION'S HERITAGE.

History:

I started climbing here on my second visit to the area, plenty of un-climbed problems unfortunatly I only visit the area once a year during the "palm creek folk fest".
