This fairly major, walled peak is about 5 km NE of the Needle. Access is through private property; contact the Coonabarabran Bushwalking Club to arrange this. The peak has three main faces, the left and middle of which are the highest. There is a fine descent gully through the middle (Head Wall) face and the long north bluffs (Whale-back Crag). The left bluff (Tower Bluff) breaks up to south where there is one route so far.
Access issues inherited from Warrumbungles
Most of the crags are in Warrumbungle National Park.
