Waterfront camping available minutes from the approach trail, and spectacular views.

Access issues

A day pass is required to climb in the park boundary. However, if you are camping at the park no additional fees are required.


Take Hwy. 6 through Wiarton. Once through the town, take the turn off for Hwy. 9. Follow Hwy 9 as it goes by the water, after it turns turns away from the lake the 2nd second road outside of the built up area should be Purple Valley Rd. Turn Right on Purple Valley Rd. At Crawford Rd. Purple Valley Road turns left, follow Purple Valley Rd. ( Road straight through turns to gravel, do not take) Turn Right onto McIver Rd, than Left on Park Rd. The park office at the entrance and park permits are available there. After entering the park, follow Park Rd to the left and once you have driven past several camping areas there is a pull over on the left with a porta-potty and Bruce Trail blazes. Follow the blazes up to the cliff face.
