Scary loose block about 5' below the anchor.

Casual, casual, casual, casual, OMG the bulge...where's the jug to make this 5.5... there isn't one... ok, pull the move, finish.

Felt like a bunch of 5.3, then one 5.7 move. I guess that averages out to 5.5, right? And the one move is well protected by a (high-clipped) bolt.

Really fun route. There are a few ways to get over the bulge. Throw in some hand jams for fun.

Fun, laid back and relaxing climb.

Easy scramble to one scary and committing move near the top. Not a safe or easy first lead.

A great lead for a new sport leader

feels like a leisurely 5.5 now that I know the beta; but the first attempts, that bulge crux ('hidden hold') section tripped me up.

Top-roped this after my partner led it--her first lead outdoors without a guide. We both agreed that the crux move just below the anchor makes this much harder than 5.5. The 5.5 grade is misleading, imo, because that grade this depends on KNOWING where that hidden hold is. (We didn't find it, nor did the other climbers who were there that day.) I wouldn't recommend this as a "first-ever" lead because of that; it is a perfectly fine climb up to there though.

Roof makes for an intimidating onsight at the grade. My beta felt closer to 5.9 for one and a half moves. I'll have to go back and play with it some more.

One tough move, the rest is easy.

If you aren't able to find the hidden holds (? Do they even exist?), the bulge feels about 5.8.

Great first lead. Solid feet and clips right at your waist for the crux, but still offering some fun gymnastic movement at the grade.
