Description

First-class boulder destination, located an altitude of 1500m directly on the border between Spain and France. Targasonne offers more than 1000 problems on rough granite blocks in a pleasant and sunny montain environment. Climbing is possible here all year long; it is not too hot in summer and snow melts quickly on the south facing plateau.

There is a detailed topo called "Le chaos de Targasonne topo guide" by Fred Bertin. It can be purchased at the camping.

Where to stay

Camping La Griole is the perfect place to stay: good facilities and very friendly owners. Several boulders are already on the campground, 2 sectors just behind the fence and the others in walking distance.
