Affenfelsen Guide

A Crag Guide gives an extensive view of all sub areas and climbs at a point in the index. It shows a snapshot of the index heirachy, up to 300 climbs (or areas) on a single web page. It shows selected comments climbers have made on a recently submitted ascent.

At a minor crag level this should be suitable for printing and taking with you on a climbing trip as an adjunct to your guidebook.

access issues

Climbing is limited to 150 climbers per day in order to reduce the impact on the ecosystem. You have to buy a climbing pass ('Kletter ticket') which permits a full day of climbing and costs €5 (last verified July 2018). They are for sale at the local Aral gas station and the national park headquarter Nationalpark-Tor Nideggen (Im Effels 10 52385 Nideggen). Please respect this rule!
