Description

The Reußenstein is a cliff located at the end of the Neidlinger valley. On top of the main cliff there is an old castle ruin which gives the place its name. On weekends this is a very popular place for barbecues and the finish of beautiful hikes in the area.

The crag consists of three main sectors. The 'Hauptfels' below the ruin, the 'Mittelfels' and its neighbour 'Nadel' and the 'Südostfels'.

Access issues

Because of possible rockfall the sector 'Hauptfels' is closed.

Approach

Leave your car on the big parking lot at the K1430. From there follow the signs in direction West to the crag (500m).
