Description

The most popular climbing area at the Hochrhein is located in the Albtal just above Albbruck. The crag features climbing in solid gneiss in all grades. Protection is thanks to the development work of the "DAV Hochrhein" in almost all routes properly. The front area is overcast, so climbing even on cooler days is possible. The rear rocks lie more in the forest and therefore to dry after rain showers quite slowly.

Approach

The approach to the climb to Albbruck is simple. Turn from the B34 towards the city center Albbruck and drive through the town towards the Görwihl Albtal. Best to park the car right in town, because there is no parking at the rocks. Walk then towards Görwihl, pass the town sign and after about 100 meters take the path downhill to your left.
