The area was a quarry in ancient Greece and the carving is still visible. The rock is of very good quality. All routes have been maintained during the summer in 2012 with bolts and anchors. Has a view over the entire city of Athens and the coast.
Two road bars to access a 5 minute-walk path by car. First is next to a military base, usually open, you 'll be allowed access by showing id if closed. Second is usually closed during the summer to protect the forest. It is a 15 minute walk from there.
