  • Approach time: 20 minutes
  • Ascents: 118

Description

one of the major recent addition to the crags in Kalymnos Great variety of styles from rude and physical climbing in the cave on the left to delicate slab climbing in the middle to some cracks on the right

Access issues inherited from Skalia Area

alcuni recenti problemi condizionano l'accesso a Skalia pillar, ora decisamente meno agevole e comune ai settori immediatamente a dx (balcony e Hotel california)

Approach

Park close to Agios Nektarios church on the top of the road leading to Palionissos from Skalia Take the path on the right walking always on palionissos side below the ridge. It will be shorter then it seems and you will comfortably reach the crag in 20 min

Descent notes

same as approach

Ethic inherited from Kalymnos

Fully bolted sport climbing with a documented bolting standard.

History

View historical timeline

bolting on the cliff was started by Andree langenbach(a french climber part time resident in kalymnos) and Roger Runacher lately helped mainly by Luca Salsotto and Bruno Fara
