Ascents in Hatun Machay as Hang dog

Hard start but nice holds for the first few bolts. The upper part of the face wasn't the nicest rock.

What a line! Pretty steep on amazing rock inside the cave with a strong move to pull over the small roof. Stiff for the grade at this altitude.

Tried at the end of the day. Was clueless between the 3rd and 4th bolt.

Sustained climbing on pockets with a slight overhang. Super nice but not in good enough shape for this one yet.

Nice line up the greyish black streak to the left of the sector. Just didn't have the stamina to get the on-sight.

Epic line up the longest part of the wall. Pretty sustained through the middle with a good bit of exposure thrown in. Amazing route!

Super nice crux sequence over the belly. Tricky for the onsight at 4200m.

Tough on the skin and tricky crux about half way up.

Fun route with the little bit overhang at the start to take your breath away at 4200m!

Fell right under the anchors..

Beautiful (overgrown) corner crack which looked like it hadn't been climbed in years. Its blank slabby features in the dihedral force you to climb the crack via jamming only. Mostly hand jams with one or two fist jams. Ate and inhaled a lot of dirt just to give up at the crux..

The finish is by no means a 5 move

Daunting chimney climb with potential for a bad fall

Super fun, marked as 6b+ in the guide book but could be a 6c. Hard to insight and easier on repeat.

2nd to 3rd bolt is hard, eases a lot afterwards.

First bolt missing, topen roped after doing the 6b+ next to it. Sharp.

Great sustained climbing. The crack offers nice jams though on sharp rock with enough face holds where needed.

Sustained! This climb doesn't let up the entire way. Great climbing as well
