Description:

South-east facing crag in the forest with some easier routes, beginner friendly.

Access Issues:

Do not park on the side of the gravel road leading to the bridge, if the parking spot by the bridge is full.

Approach:

From Preddvor, find Nova vas and drive straigh on to a gravel road. Follow it until you reach a bridge and parking spot. From that bridge, follow the path leading on and up into the forest, eventually joining a gravel road. Then look for the wall on your left for sectors A and B, sectors C and D are below the road. You should reach it in 10-15 minutes of walking.

Description:

History:

Crag was established in 2001 by Miha Golob and Vili Guček.

Description:

A popular climbing spot in vicinity of Trbovlje and Prebold, offering easy slabby routes on very solid limestone rock in sector 'Nad kapelico' and harder challenges on vertical cliffs with some overhanging parts in sectors above the road.

Approach:

Winding and narrow asphalt road takes you from Gabrsko towards Reška planina. At the end of the asphalt is parking spot for sector 'Nad kapelico'. For other sectors you can leave your car about 800m earlier on a parking spot on a right bend. There are few ropes to help you walk up the hill, one should be visible from the road.

Short approach (5min) from parking place. Very good equipped routes. Good for beginners.

Description:

Nice limestone face climbs.

Access Issues:

There are no access issues. Crag is free for all climbers.

Approach:

Parking place is at the crossroads Hrastnik-Dol pri Hrastniku. From there is about 5 minutes walk along the road Hrastnik-Dol pri Hrastniku. The rock is well seen from the road.

Ethic:

General ethic for sport climbing in use. No drytooling is allowed on slovenian sport routes!!!

History:

Hrastnik is a town in area called Zasavje. For past 20 years or more the major root developer and instructor in the area was Vili Guček. He provided knowledge and equipment so now we have good team of root developers. Hrastnik crag took us around 3 to 4 years of hard work. There was a lot of work on the ground before we even got to the rock but it was worth of every our we put in the crag. there is still free space on the crag (cca 60 routes) so we rock on

It takes about 10 minutes walk through the forest from a small parking site by the road. You can not see the crag from the road. Local people are mostly kind and will help you out if you ask them for approach details.

Description:

Small bouldering spot in a forest offers problems ranging from very easy to moderate difficulty. Problems are marked with numbers and there are even some left-over gym pads lying around. A brush will come in handy to clean moss, soil and leaves.

Approach:

Between Izlake and Kisovec, at Ytong factory, make a turn for Šemnik - ŠRC Marela. Follow the signs until you get to the big parking spot, from there follow the forest road on the left for ~150m to the bouldering spot.

History:

Area was cleaned and set up by Ervin Mlakar and Vili Guček in 2007.

Unique Features And Strengths:

Old school style Much different from modern overhanging climbs. Precise footwork is necessary on this delicate face routes.

Description:

From the road Zelenc looks more like concret wall with no holds seperated by thin crack (route butnskala 6a+). When you get closer you can see small holes and pockets.

Access Issues:

Free access for all climbers.

Approach:

Zelenc is well seen from the road. You can recognize it by metal sculpture of an deer on the top of the wall.
