Ascents in Gordons Bay: Surfside

This was a three person attempt to get the rope up. S/O to Bruce and Annelie for definitely carrying the team. This is an amazing crag, totally underrated because the view is pure magic.

Jan's B-day present! 7a in good conditions, 7b in bad conditions

3rd time this week. Can still barely move on the project.

Week day sends are the best! Perfect spring weather. Beautiful view.

So much fun! Looks a bit broken, but climbs surprisingly well. Ugly send though. Stuck the crux like a machine, but for the rest I was shaking all over the place.

Using old bolts backed up with trad gear. Had to get a bit creative on this one. Very cool route. This crag is heavily under rated!

Sort of flashed this bad boy on toprope first. Came back with some hangers this time to do a proper send. Very cool moves!

A bit dodge with the old bolts and the closure in 2005. But trying to find out who to speak to about access. In the meantime we've had no resistance to date.
