The crux is getting over the small roof. Hard crimps.

Nice and consistent

Very thin. Above my pay grade.

Good fun. Throw a sling over the crack between the last bolt and the anchors to clip onto if it feels a bit runout.

The first few bolts are definitely worth doing. Very soft at the end though. The last bolt before the anchors is way off to the left - looks like rock is quite bad at the end.

Felt quite a bit harder than Chubba Wubba, about 6a.

Great climb, tricky start

Tricky start. I started BH on the crimp just to the right of the sloper on the arete, bumped to the arete and pulled up to the slopey hold directly up to TO. I rate 5c.

Tried, failed, next time

Nice and sustained at the grade. Felt like 5c - maybe I went off route (too far right?)

Not sure but I think pockets at the top during the traverse is off - decent root that way.

Great climb. Didn't try very hard on the day, need to figure out the last move. Common opinion is that this route is one of the most sandbagged 6Bs in Cape Town, thus grade contribution of 6b+.

Climbing with a friend who is new to the sport - this route was a very pleasant surprise. Really good for such a low-grade route. There are so many variations and eliminating holds makes for a fun warm-up. Hard to propose grades at this level, but based on the grading chart 4b+ should roughly translate in difficulty to a 16 in sport which seems fair.

So much contact strength needed for the TO, getting closer though!

Unsure about the start here. There is a chalked up lower rail, which I couldn't pull off of - did not feel like a 5. Did from the higher rail, ~5a+. Ill try do it proper next time.

My second send at the grade (my first being Girl on our Mind). I think both might be soft, would love to hear more opinions - 6b.

I'm unsure if the undercling is on or off. Felt a bit easy for 6a. 5b?

Wow, this problem is hard.

Not much here, getting of the ground is the hardest part and the rest is just a decent downclimb for the other routes

Climbed this again today. I actually think its an amazing route. Technical slab into a juggy overhang, what's not to like?

Took a fall at the crux, I think it's a brilliant crux. Always thought it was a bit skewed towards tall people, but today I finally found beta at the correct grade that made the reach up quite easy. Spoilers: Trick is to get your foot high on the left and go up using the rail as an underling. Very satisfying finally figuring this new beta out!

A Cape Town classic. I still think it's a bit soft compared to other 21s (this was my first 21 and flashed it soon after I started climbing).

Could not figure out how to get to the second bolt. Do you go far right along the crack then back left at the height of the second bolt?
