One of the easier crags in the Huesca area and ideal for an excursion with climbers who have no or little experience, but still the crag offers some beautiful higher graded routes up to 6c.
The Iniciátio and La Corona sectors are situated on a limestone cliff with a great view over the Grado reservoir down below. Climbing varies from almost slabby to straight to overhanging. Routes are well bolted with standard issue stainless bolts. Anchor points consistently exist of a central ring connected to two bolts. Route length varies from less than 10m to almost 30m. The cliff faces southeast and catches a lot of sun, so the later afternoon is best for climbing.
Just opposite the (cliffside) milestone number 19 there's a small roadside patch that fits 3 to 4 cars tops. If this parking spot is full, there's a big parking lot in the village Ligüerre de Cinca, closer to the reservoir.
Facing the milestone on the right hand side there's a path leading up to the Iniciátio sector (5 minutes walking).
Where to stay
There should be a camping close to A138 milestone number 28 (unverified).
As is the case for all encountered crags in the Aragon area, this crag is completely unpolluted. Be sure to take your thrash!
