Summary

Superb conglomerate climbing in a quiet and beautiful landscape.

Description

In alliance with 'Siurana', 'Arboli' and 'Montsant' you have a live stock of hight quality routes for many climbing trips into the Montsant mountain range and natural parc region.

The climbing style is dominated by pockets and cobblestones, and makes for quite a contrast from the more fingery edging routes at 'Siurana' across the valley.

There is a complete local guidebook available that is updated regularly by the developers. Every year plenty of routes are added due to the big potential. Buy the guidebook in the village and help the local community.

Due to many shady and sunny sectors you can climb all year around. In winter sometimes fog will stay during the day and in summer it might be to hot for someone.

Where to stay

There is a municipality campground with two sections. A very basic one for a lower fee directly at the base of the dam. The other on is in the village and offers more amenities.

You will find some hostels, bars and a small market in the village.
