Trachyte rock

Description

Bolted crag in a location which catches the best of the sunshine.

Approach

From B1247 in North Berwick park on the outskirts of the town. Follow the wide track on the west side of North Berwick Law until the quarried walls are found.

Grade Route

Climb the corner then take the thin crack up the left wall gaining the ledge and flake above

Start below the right hand arete on the slab and climb up to this then the slab left of the arete.

The left hand arte on its right side.

First line to the right of the arete

Left start to Law of Gravity

Starting from the low ledge on the right.

Start of the ledge with a very hard move past the overlap.

Girdle starting up arte of Nectie

Climb the corner groove and continue up the slab

Eliminate right of the corner

Middle line up the wall and smeary bulge then easy slab.

Squeezed line to right with one very hard move off a one finger pocket
