Ascents in Birdsboro having Beta

THis was an interesting climb. it makes you think that you want to "lay back into the climb". i tried this. very hard! there is an alternate version that use sidepulls and the flat face of the area to lay back in. granted im just coming off an injury a week back but this will pump you out plenty to make this go at a 11.d grade. i though this was harder than grovin

This is a decent climb. warmed up on this and then decided to non comittally proceed to the 12C extension

this was an endurance haul. very comfortable flow. really gets exciting 2/3 the way up the climb. the pump factor is building and you just gotta go for it.

THis was meh. kinda an awkwardclimb in general. the only reason you should do this climb is for the link up to the streak.

If you are short, the first move may be too tall for you. French Aid is always an option.

my favorite 5.8 in a while. sequency route that feels 5.9 onsight and then gets better with repeat assents.

1 TR. Silvia's first lead fall trying left. Crimps and corner on right is the way.

1 lead with John belaying.

Pieced a TR together with a half dozen takes. This one's tough.

TR. Moist rock. Top big block left of anchor is getting loose.

1 TR warmup

1 lead. Looks easier than it is, but it is easier than other 5.8's. Used corner.

1 TR as directional from Itching to Climb. Just reached anchor from right. Couldn't get left/above anchor.

Nice lead. Crux was getting to diagonal crack.

TR after Silvia lead. Had a take before the 3rd clip.

Warmup. Easy lead, with slighly awkward crux getting to super holds above anchor.

We climbed this one to the top anchor. It was Pink, as Silvia went first and left the draws on the bolts. A bit awkward to clear as the anchor lowers you to the left (along Bottom Fishing) from the bolts.

Second climb I started more to the left. It was more challenging this way.

Started moving right along the diagonal flake. It's easier this way.
