Description

The most popular (and most crowded) cliff at Shelf Road. Easy access and great routes in all grades make that a good choice but maybe not on the weekend.

Approach

From Bank parking continue on the right road for about 50 meters until you see a well marked trail going down. Follow this trail and the signs for Cactus Cliff down into the wash and up on the other side. There, follow the road left and take one of the access trails up to the cliff. There is also a trail leading up from the day use parking lot along Shelf road.

Ethic inherited from Shelf Road

There are restrooms at the camp sites and in between The Vault and Cactus Cliff, please use them! Pack in what you pack out.
