I tried to stay on top of the bolt line today. I climbed mostly on the arête between this climb and loaded gun to the right. I ended up with the same finish for loaded gun instead of the usual mantel finish just left of the loaded gun off-width. Both ways of finishing are similar in difficulty.

I lead this clean today. I have climbed this line several times before as a top roped solo so even though i have never attempted to lead this before i cannot with good conscious call this climb today an "onsight".

Awesome route with a Little bit of everything. Difficult crux to the chains, stiff for the grade. More difficult finish than Tidy Up, which is a 5.10a.

Pretty stiff for a 5.8. The crux pulling the undercling roof is classic but hard for the grade.

Very long first pitch, close to rope length. Second pitch is short but quite difficult at 5.10c. To avoid this pitch traverse left along obvious ledge and climb a 5.9+ pitch to the top. I give this climb 3 stars because of the long pitch and the incredible scenery more than for the climbing alone. Breathtaking view, and you are likely to see a moose or two below. I led first pitch, Tyler led p2.

This is my second roped solo on this route. What a great route this is. This route at 5.8 is a total sandbag. Way more interesting and difficult than lucky Pierre which is listed as a three star 5.9 in the guide books.

Pretty typical black cliffs route, dihedral and face climb, gets more difficult right before the anchors. A fun, solid, cliffs 5.8 line.

Did the climb again following the finger crack to the left of the dihedral instead of staying in the hand/fist crack. Finished in the same overhung offwidth.

Stayed on the column to the left of Heat Miser finishing on the spicy offwidth which now has it's own chains. The offwidth section is amacing, but very tough. The overhead offwidth has lodged stones as holds.

Did this route on toprope starting on the slab and then using the fist-to-hands crack to the right of the face climb instead of starting on the normal face climb to the left. The crack peters out after 20 feet or so and then you need to do a tricky traverse to the left to get back the patina face climbing that leads to the anchors. Very fun climbing in a pretty decent crack section.

Enjoyable climb. Used anchors to the left and higher than the Heat Miser anchors. It works but requires an awkward traverse move over a bulge to the left to get to the anchors. Probably makes more sense to use the Heat Miser anchors.
