Ascents in Lower Cliffs

My favorite 5.8 on the mountain so far (and I've done most of them!). This is a must do! Classic jam crack climbing. Everything is solid, from the pro to the hands and feet. What a blast. It is nice and sustained with a couple decent rest points.

The first 15 feet were fun, after that, it was a complete bungle in the dirt! Just leave this route alone and save yourself the trouble unless you are really desperate for something new.

Bring a light rack for getting past the bolted section. Also, bring 2 ropes or rappel over to the right to use the rap station in the center of the wall.

great moves, tricky, go out right then back left to make second clip, good new bolts

bad bolts, fun top rope, stout for 11c. Gaston to the slicker looking rail with left hand at crux

I really liked this short but fun arete climb. Good moves, good bolt placement.

Short, but some nice moves, good protection. Great for a first sport-lead!

Just the first couple moves off the ground is the crux. Very edgy.

Short, green and slippery. 'Nuff said.

Do Underworld 5.7 for pitch 2 for a little more of a challenge
