Unique Features And Strengths:

Good for solitude.

Description:

This a sandstone canyon, with climbs and potential climbs that are 20 to 45' high. Rock quality varies from good to fragile or suspect.

Approach:

The canyon is remotely located in Glorieta Mesa about 5 miles south of Golrieta as the crow flies. Access is through a maize of 2WD and 4WD roads. Park by the west fork of the canyon at: 35.50507 X 105.77498 and hike east along cairns to the main canyon.
