the original route climbed on Mt Baker. Approach via the Mount Baker Trail. Take a right up the Hogs Back, a lateral Moraine. Ascend the right flank of the Coleman Glacier. usually fewer crevasses father west. bear towards the black buttes to the saddle between colfax peak and grand Peak. Proceed upwards via pummice ridge. stay right of the Roman Wall to summit crater.
