Ascents of Regular Northwest Face having Beta

Moslty free, up the the 7a pitch, aid what we had to aid

This thing is 670m! we though it was only 500m ahaha. Our grand idea to try IAD starting at 1am made really good pace to the traverse pitches and I bricked it on Pitch 14 made for a wild rappel! I was the weak link on this route next time we will smash it IAD PEW PEW.

Epic 20h single push.

Freeclimbed as much as possible, but fell twice on the Zig Zag pitches and aided the upper crux slab.

The new lasso beta works fine but I got a bit lost finding exactly where to lower-out.

Awesome adventure. Day 1 to big sandy and topped out midday next day. Love the french-free speed tactics. Rope toss was a novel aid trick! Squeeze chimney was scary. As was seconding Thank God ledge. Love the tourist topout, only need to ration food and water for up to the summit

Lots of happiness to get up this memorable route. About 12 hours. We really wanted to free it but once you start pulling on gear it's hard to go back Walking the Thank God Ledge (somehow!) is a memory that we will both carry forever. With Mark Spicer.
