Hi guys, quick word, i can't seem to find much info about climbing in Fiji but i have been there about 4 times (mainly to surf actually) but have spotted a few good looking boulders (on the island of Yanuca just outside Pacific Harbor).

I am going back in late August for 3 weeks and planning on putting up a few lines, even if they are garbage!

Has anyone got any information about climbing in Fiji? i have heard possibilities of climbing around Ovalau and a location north of Nadi called the Sleeping Giant in Latoka.

Any info would be great, cheers,

I was there with my son about a month ago and it looked like there was a lot of great looking cliffs. We were not climbing though. I get the feeling it is really undeveloped.

I think you will be starting the contributions to Fiji. Just do it and see what happens. If you find anybody else who has climbed in Fiji then let them know about this resource. It might be good for local tourism as well.
