Routes as sport in Gorges du Chassezac

Follows the obvious flake with a distinct (but well protected) crux right at the beginning. At its end left and up through the final wall. Bolts appear to be a bit spaced in the upper part, but reaching them is unproblematic.

Good line with homogenous difficulties on mostly big holds. Probably the hardest part are the first metres.

A classic of the crag. Hard start, then sustained wall climbing including lot of laybacking on vertical flakes. In some topos considered as 6a+.

Good route, but very hard crux high above the bolt at about 2/3 height. Rockfax consideres this one as 7a, so don't say you haven't been warned...

Easy ramp in the first half, demanding and polished dihedral in the second. However, still very worthwhile.

Good climbing along wild rock structures left of the obvious dihedral without actually using it too much. Looks more vegetated than it is,. The bolts are a bit questionable, but the chain is good.

Start 6c+ (since starting tree is now dead), 6a+ after.

Hardest route of the sector. Difficult bouldery passage in the middle to gain the higher good holds. Find the hidden mono!

Short route on juggy polished rock, with some powerful and less juggy moves in the middle.

Short route over huge juggy, though very polished flakes.
