Description

The short approach and the opportunity for playing and bathing make this beautiful climbing spot at the riverbank of Rio Mijares an ideal destination for a family trip. This spot is used as a training ground by the local Guardia Civil. Fonseca is divided into three sectors, located on both sides of the river. Riversides are connected by a bridge. A traverse with clamps leads to the sector 'El lado oscuro'.

Approach

Ethic inherited from Aragon

  • No dejes papel higiénico.

  • The limestone is soft – please clean your shoes from dirt in order to avoid polished handholds and steps.
  • Don't toprope directly through anchors or bolts – use your own material instead.
  • Clean chalk and tickmarks with a brush.
  • Don't leave toilet paper.
  • Pick up rubbish - also cigarette butts.
  • Park considerately (tractors should be able to pass also at the weekend).
