Climbing could be better but, ya know, it’s the Moai. Arrived at 4:30am, slept a few hours, then hiked out there. I love Lutruwita. Single pitch.

Proud to have dogged this as I was pretty intimidated with the idea. Managed the awkward start, but got shut down on the delicate face. Hard 4th (?) clip! Got the rest without much trouble, but that one move didn't go even on TR. Did it all in 1 pitch.

What a way to round off the Tassie trip, sick adventure down to the Moai and had a stellar time ripping up Ancient Astronaut. Some sussy bolt positions that made it a bit more gripping than it probably needed to be, sick climbing though

How good! A bit out of my bracket right now, but once I figured out the first two cruxy bits, I sent it from the first ledge all the way up to the top first go. Got to come back.

Amazing! 1 Pitch. Had a lap putting the draws up and stick clipped past the crux. Tried it again on the way down and couldn't work it out so had the next shot on top rope to try and work it out. Managed to stick it straight away and went all the way to the top. Should have lead it.

So happy I gave this a go, but jeez that was tricky, even on top rope. Required some very high feet and committing moves. I think Jordan may have slightly hoisted me up on the crux at the fourth bolt, but gave it a good shot after this and did the second pitch clean. First 24 I've ever jumped on and couldn't pick a better spot!

Highlight of my trip so far, pretty adventurous day of climbing. After the long walk you discover this epic sea stack standing alone in the ocean. It looks like it could topple at any moment. Technical fun and exposed climbing, fell a few times working the crux but loved the experience.

Pulled on at or below each high point so did all individual moves but felt very delicate, would take a few goes to get clean. Cleaned off one bolt at the middle ledge as burning spear had become free

had 4 good shots on lead, worked out good beta but insecure positions had me falling once every shot, just to pull back on and do the rest no problem-agonising. Beautiful technical climbing. Would recommend extending and pre placing the 4th bolt if you'd rather clip from a jug than a heinous and insecure stance.

Repeat. As 1 giant pitch (again). Not clean today, but only 1 fall right at the end of the main crux on the Alzheimer's Onsight, so im pretty happy, considering how much fine-tuning effort went into putting it together for the tick a year ago. Very sequency and a bit broken up, but still classic climbing. Hard at the grade.

2nd shot. Sustained and varied hardness. Climbed as one giant pitch. 3 of us ticked this climb today, and all 3 climbed the crux 1st pitch COMPLETELY differently in its entirety. For the middle crux section, I used right hand arete-slapping rather than the razor-thin crimping of my friends. The top pitch is dreamy technical climbing, with the first few metres off the halfway anchors being particularly memorable.

A bit harder then I wanted to pull on my rest day but worth the effort. Its seems that the crux can be done many ways but I went for the straight up crimp hard option. Climbed as one long pitch. The layback moves on the second pitch are dreamy.
