Finally went to check out the craglet up the hill from home. Didn’t expect much. Expectations were validated!

Best stalagtite climbing this side of South East Asia! Very unique pitch and full value for the grade.

Tricky little number! Quite varied and interesting.

Quite unlikely climbing at points. A bit of a tease because partners weren’t keen to do this pitch age join at the Chillout Ledge. Very keen to return for some of the harder lines.

Did pitch 1 only to link into Granite Gringo.

Two stars for the first 3 pitches, one for the remaining 6. Definitely worth doing as a relatively easy day outing from Homer, but some might prefer to rap after pitch 3, as it’s really the standout. Still, a nice addition to the area and it was cool to walk off the top and descend past Black Lake.

Confusing bolting on this section of wall, but a decent warm up.

Not a remarkable crag, but it was perfect for a family climb on the last day of my sister’s visit. One of the best views of any Port Hills crag.

Definitely not a fully bolted sport route. No apparent anchor, so I just downclimbed to clean.

Quite nice at the grade, another case of a seldom done route that will surely be popular with the new bolts.

Amazing how some shiny new bolts will make a previously ignored piece of rock look appealing!
