Ascents as Send, Repeat, First ascent, Red point or Tick as boulder by Stuart McElroy

Took a few goes to work the sequence. Started off thinking I should (could?) dyno from the good sidepull to sharp jugs...but that was too painful, so ended up doing it by a sequence of static sidepulls ever higher up the crack and then a final deadpoint to the sharp jug...with several left foot smears.

Fell from near the top first attempt...high enuff to have time to think 'wow, this is a long fall....' and then....crunch!

Good problem that can be done even when the tips are trashed!

Easy if you know how to finger-lock and jam!

Cool once the sequence is nailed

Ended up doing a stem move which docks a grade or two!

Fun arete thing. Also did a problem between this and the V5 starting with right in incut and left in sidepull/undercling at base of arete, and then up not using the arete V1?

It was all really fun...until the topout!

Had a horrible mantle style...grovelling around with knees and all!

Pretty easy but with the possibility of falling down the hole if you came off...enough of a threat to scare Miss B from trying it ...maybe only V0.

The topo photo suggests using the right face and the arête with the left. I climbed it however using the left face and the arête with my right. It's a distinct line to the adjacent V2 up the face to the left and uses different holds. Still feels V3-ish.
