Solid route! I would rate the second pitch as better than Auto Da Fae's, if not for the abseil traffic. The first pitch also not as bad as the book makes out, though it was pretty consistent and thought provoking for a 17.

Without a doubt, one of the best and worst decisions I've made in life. No beta other than a warning, if you struggle with the entrance from the chimney side, don't even bother with the rest. Only 2 of us made it through, and while the 3rd lives on in physical form, some say his soul is still stuck in the void.

Started climbing as a trio at midnight on new years eve. Did it in thongs girth hitched to our ankles for that sweet, sweet security. Simul climbed to the top in the dark, simul rapped for good measure. Epic way to kick off 2021, and turn a classic into a nice spicy number!

Such a great second, but very glad not to be leading this. Stas nearly had a moment trying to plug gear into the first ledge. Beta alert - be ready with a 0.3 flexible stem cam, slots nicely into a rail at the first ledge. Your heart/legs/belayer will thank you.
