another send at the Theej! not totes sure about the anchor placement though? I ended up topping out at top of the fridge kind directly above last bolt. but did feel easy for 23 once i knew what to hold

I am on my way to climbing every route here! (glacis is gonna be a toughie though). I have said it before and I will say it again - bury me at the Cathedral

climbed this to attempt the extension, but seeing as i got this clean, im ticking it! esp considering my shocking attempt the other day. moves from second bolt to third are probs my second fav sequence at the Theej

wow first go today! pretty stoked but i do believe its a tad easier for the taller folks. would love to hear some beta from shorter folks - what on earth do you do up there?! great final sequence - maybe my fav crux sequence at the Theej?

yay a send! new tick on the crag for me but i have climbed this thing. not sure if clean though! waaaay harder than i remembered!

wahoo! stemmed and hand jammed to clip the 6th bolt. then a few moves in the crack before coming back onto the face. maybe 21 this way? or easier? was i meant to do more of the overhanging crux face? maybe? but could i? no way so why bother

It goes on gear with reasonable protection! Pretty fun plugging all those horizontal breaks! Totes felt harder though, even though I knew what to do!

Wow cannot believe this one. Very proud of this ascent. A near onsight grovel and Tom's words of encouragement meant we came back to it after lunch. Despite the already open wounds on my back, I had to try. Not sure about this 'sport climbing crux' business. It's offwidth all the way for me. Fyi one bolt anchor. And let's get a quick shoutout to Merlin.

glad to finally put this one away. the crux beta was mega dialled and the whole thing felt real good. will be back for the extension!

stoked on this! Gear is all great and abundant! Spooky off the deck until the tree stump of destiny. Then: [cue music] JAMB YR WAY TO THE HEARTS OF MILLIONS

glad my foot slipped onto the non-existent footer below the crystal, which unlocked everything. was stoked to turn this into a mission alongside mr buns

stoked to snag another theejy classic - big ole 23 move to a slabby cherry-on-top finish. three stars for sure (but remember, the cathedral offwidths are at least 5 stars)

provided quite the pump - still a great time

oldie but a goodie

linked into brother son in search of gear. failed greenpoint attempt with a desperate clipping of the second bolt. turns out there is a jug ... there always is

wow. attempted this once when mikl was bolting nearby and failed, bringing shame upon me and my family (and tom's family). But finally sent it, so hopefully my family and tom's family will speak to me again. also when i eventually start a climbing academy for toddler hard nut test piece crushers of the future, night climbing will be one of my most sought after, yet eccentric training methods (alongside 'feet where your eyes are'). There is no crux if you can't see it.

another of those cruxes around here that looks insane, you do it, come down, and it still looks insane.

this will mean nothing to anyone, and t don't really care to explain. but this climb had the most intense (albeit imagined) deadline, burdening me with sleepless nights throughout lockdown. tonight, i shall rest easy. and mr. carter, wherever you may be, you too may now rest easy - i got it done.

failure is no longer my friend. or it is? and now we're good mates and everything in the past is now just water under the bridge? hard to tell

easily one of the best climbs here! GET ON IT! its clean and dry and waiting for your filthy mitts and slippy slabtastic feet. And for some extra flavour try on gear! (until final bolt)

few attempts to clean the sand off, find the holds, and remove the draws for the tru rotpunkt. nighttime connies were a dream

its kinda the go to warmup, esp when everything else is moist

turns out if you say the phrase, 'I think this is the longest project I've ever had', right before an attempt, you are statistically more likely to to have fat crack become the next proj, and regret ever saying the aforementioned phrase

think i dodged the crux - it went suspiciously smoothly

pumpy with some spice sprinkled throughout - rare for this wall where the upper section is normally cruise nation

one hang dog sesh, and finally snagged the first 22 redpoint, and on mr mcdougall nonetheless - feeling honoured

greenpoint* adventures with greenzo, who as much as they wanted to be involved, was utterly useless. cute intentions tho.

*clipped the one bolt for a hot sec bc i refuse to die at a Sydney crag

i bailed on the greenpoint and clipped the new ring bolt like a 21st century loser.
