A spectacular day out. And it will be the whole day. The dicey long traverse was a highlight.

Stalled out on the unsettling top section. Trust those tiny feet.

OK warm-up.

Good confidence-booster to come back to this and lead it cleanly.

The first pitch is fairly straightforward, the second is a lot more challenging (hats off to Kym). Second carrot on the 2nd pitch (after the hanger) is in a butt-clenchingly high spot.

Tough first move, balancy second, slab to finish. Short but fun.

Stepping up onto the slab at the very finish is the most nerve-racking part!

What's the opposite of sandbagged? An okay climb, but it's barely harder than AWA.

A good route, with one very nervy clip (the fourth) and a strenuous crux move straight after (took a couple of tries to work it out). The rest is straightforward.

A variety of technical and balancy moves makes this a really satisfying one to tick off. Got the two overhang moves dialled tonight.

Fell of the crux, again! Even though I knew what to do!

A clean lead on a classic route, and a new personal best at that. In the sunshine. Life feels pretty good.

OK for a warm-up.

Deceptively easy at the start, the top third provides all of the excitement.

Not exactly a clean ascent, but I got up. Crimpy, technical, and highly entertaining. Classic.

Not bad. More balance than strength needed.

Always fun.

Extremely strenuous and sustained climb; heck of a workout for the arms. Note there is a ledge you could play tennis on for a rest, half way.

Very good climb. Some delicate footwork required to perch on thin crimps.

Nice, varied climb. Alternates between sketchy and safe. Would take a better climber than I to stay on the right for the whole route.

Fun times. The last move feels a little dicey 'til you find the hidden hold!

Woosed out a bit on the crux, the first go. It's easy once you know how. Trust your feet.

Balance and poise required, rather than strength.
