Ascents as Tick, Solo, First ascent, Lead or First free ascent as sport by Richard Pattison

2nd ascent within a few days, soloed the first pitch, then swapped leads for the 2nd and 3rd pitch.

Had to pull on the 4th bolt. Can also get a small BD red (#0.1) in about 1m above the 4th bolt.

Repeat, enjoyed the 1st pitch far more second time around, really good. Didn't bother with the 2nd pitch this time.

Good climb. Don't bring "diagonal" bolt plates, don't fit on some carrots. Awkward mantle over the lip on P1. P2 is a big arc, starting 5m left of belay but finishing right.

Probably the worst rock I've ever climbed on. Didn't know anything about the route, found the bolts and started climbing, looked about Aussie 18. Silly horizontal traverse for P5, very thin for feet and maybe worse for hands. P6 crux I had to pull on draws, then fortunately someone had left a sling attached to the 2nd bolt, then maybe the 5th bolt I had to use a sling for a foothold, too difficult for me!

Too difficult for me, surely there was more earth to stand on previosuly? The base must be lower, surely, but I know I'm a terrible crack climber! I used BD 0.75 cam just to get in the vicinity of the first bolt! :o)

BD #2 (yellow) reassuring for the bouldery/layback corner start.

The top bolt is surrounded by 5 scars of broken holds, presumably the grade 18 holds? And the grade 19 holds... and maybe 20 too ;o) the bolt worked well instead! ;o)

Mel's first Point Perp lead, wow, great exposure. Cold rock in the winter shade, much hand blowing between moves!

Amusing line just above the water, love watching everyone's expressions, especially the 2nd who's probably at more risk of a dunking ;o) Actually climbed past the 4th bolt (couldn't get a good position to place the bolt plate) to a good comfortable stance level with the 4th bolt.

Crux is 2/3 up, options left & right. Nice route, maybe a 17?

Soft for 20, I can't lead 20's but lead this! Everyone's first 20? Interesting iron stone cylinder thing at the crux.

Perfectly dry after a 30 min thunderstorm. Fun juggy climb.

2nd lap

13 FHs (maybe 14?) + 3 carrots on top. The crux at 1/3 height is a little trickier/thinner than EPIAL next door.

Nervy abseil and hanging belay! Pretty happy to get moving and back on the rock! ;o)

A 10m route and I even managed a sit-down rest at the 1st bolt while figuring-out my next few moves! ;o) Fairly overhanging but big holds

Struggled just to get off the ground! Went right a bit & then back left for the roof, nice moves.
