Ascents as sport by Adam Straw having Distinct route

Got a bit crossed up through the balancy section then ended up cutting loose like a goose going for the jug. Terrible form but made it through haha.

So effing good. Almost creamed myself after doing this route. Next time I go for the green point ;-). Looking up at the continuation Sonnie did for "The Path 14a" and I was in absolute shock and awe at what that man can do on trad gear!!

Nice jug hauling with a tricky finish. Would be much better if I wasn't constantly dipping my hands in rat shit. All part of the outdoors though I guess........

Probably found the 10c first pitch harder and more insecure. The 11a up the top is just oozing exposure and flawless rock. Mint!!!

Awesome technical face climbing up the first pitch. Didn't have the greatest experience on the second when I missed two of the bolts. Take a heap of bolt plates.

Found an awesome lie down rest before blasting through an unforgettable crux! This is a sublime route

One of the best warm ups in the sector.

Techy and quite run out for a kalymnos climb. Still adequately bolted even if it's a little heady.

First route in the Verdon and man is the exposure crazy here. The first couple of pitches were a little intimidating and insecure for the grade. But once we got to the crux pitches, the angle and quality got cranked right up to 11!!! Climbing continuously hard moves on that slightly overhanging wall with that exposure had me hootin!!!

Man this was hard. I thin it being the first pitch of an 8a+ had something to do with the difficulty.

This is one burly and sustained haul fest! First route of the day and boy was pumped out of my brain by the end. This is a 21 for sure!

Surely up there with the best multipitch sport routes around. Slammed through it with Bryce in 2 hours and even got to pass a party. Would be an awesome one to simulclimb.

Just plain fun pulling some sweet jugs then a delicate finish.

Scary start with no stick clip on offer. Then pump management to the top. Seemed super stiff for the grade.

Nice steep jugs.

Warm up for the guardhouse challenge. Got pumped and probably finished off colder than I started.

Sustained and interesting all the way. Tried with a 70m rope and had to pull some weird jiggery pokery to get down.

This route looks way harder than it is. If you're feeling like Chris Sharma then cut loose for fun in the roof.

Had a few false stars at the first bolt but oozed my way up the arete after finding the hidden mono.

I won't ever be climbing this thing again. #lifeistoshorttoclimbshitroutes

Snapped a hold off on the onsight, got it second go.

What a smear! I could skip a move with my reach. Still bloody hard though.

Second go. turns out speed was the key.

Crux is sort but super hard on terrible holds. more line 5.11c/d

Cool moves off pebbles and pockets at the bottom. Top is shithouse and doesn't look climbable.

Tried to onsight it in the dark. Will get it next time.

Hard and quite scary. Some freaky moments at the top with not much more than slabby smears.

Not sure if it was the wind, extreme exhaustion from bluff knoll the day before, broken off holds or me just being shit but this was damn hard. Don't think I've been that pumped for quite a while. Chris and I both thought this deserves an extra star and an extra grade.

Gave this another shot and failed again. I forget how to do the crux move every time i get up there
