17 | ★ Space Trucken - with Jake | 10m, 4 | Mount Keira | ★★ Very Good | Sun 20th Oct 2013
Not hard for a 17, considering the entire crags a sandbag! Amazing moves that will take me back there again and again.
17 | ★ Elmocize - with Susanna Rodregez-Barba | 10m, 4 | Blue Mountains | ★ Good | Sat 15th Dec 2012
It appears that a crucial hold may have broken off. A possible 18-19 now. Still a great climb. Balancey and thought provoking.

17 | Wing Commander - with Mandy Leung | 15m | Mt Ku-ring-gai | Average | Sun 10th Aug 2014
Besides the crux this climb offers nothing of real interest. The first bolt is in a high position so make sure you're sure of your holds before committing.

17 | ★ Humzoolgy | 18m, 5 | Blue Mountains | ★ Good | Sat 16th Sep 2017
Accurate grade. Found that the 45' bolt plates didn't fit the carrots but the 90' ones did. Fun climb.
17 | ★ Drowning in Climbing Karma - with Marty Middlebrook | 9m, 3 | Mt Ku-ring-gai | ★ Good | Wed 25th Nov 2020
Very good start with a slow and steady send to the lower offs.
17 Hard | ★★ Turds in Tin Hats - with maaddzzyy | 14m, 6 | Blue Mountains | Fri 16th Jun 2023
Accurate for the grade. The direct start is committing and you'll need a switched on spotter. Sus the holds and sequence out before you start. Once through the sequence and on top of the ledge, take a moment to breath and smile. Route appears run out between several bolts but the good holds are there, just need to find them. More traffic = more chalk, so will be easy to spot holds once crag is released. An excellent climb and well protected.
Be mindful the rope naturally falls and runs through the crack beneath the 5th bolt when being lowered. |
17 16 | ★ Freda Mind - with John Hollott | 10m, 4 | Du Faur walls | ★★ Very Good | Fri 19th Oct 2012
Awesome climb all round. Made great use of the crack to the left. Pitty it didn't go all the way up.
17 16 | ★ Cold Finger - with Phuong Ho | 12m | Blue Mountains | ★★ Very Good | Sat 7th May 2016
Quite a good climb and certainly worth a repeat at another visit. Thought provoking and challenging.
17 | ★ Q - with Geoff Cooper | 6m, 3 | Woy Woy | ★★★ Classic | Sat 23rd Dec 2017

17 | ★ Evolution - with Phuong Ho | 9m, 3 | Mt Ku-ring-gai | ★★ Very Good | Sat 3rd Jun 2017
Slab with nice rails for feet and fingers. I'm quite a fan if this climb, stays clean after rain.

17 | FA ★★ Matt and Lee's Excellent Adventure - with Phuong Ho | 17m, 8 | Southern Cousin | ★★ Very Good | Sun 1st Apr 2018
Good pockets on the slab however they sound a little hollow. Jovial mantel before the overhang gave me a run for my "foot work money". Great mantle and a fun trip around the nose to the lower offs at the back.
17 | FA ★ Matt and Lee's Bogus Journey - with John Hollott | 14m, 7 | Southern Cousin | ★ Good | Tue 22nd May 2018

17 | Areptile - with John Hollott | 9m, 3 | Bouddi National Park | Average | Sat 29th Dec 2012
Got it on the seoncd attempt. Much harder than the 17 given to it. I'd grade it a 19 at the best. Tricky finish and a hard move after the second draw. Nice climb and a little fingery.

Another wow factor climb! The crux is something I need to work on but the rest of it flowed so well.
17 | ★★ Yesterday's Heroes - with Phuong Ho | 12m, 4 | Berowra | ★★★ Classic | Wed 25th Jan 2017
Gotta work for the crux with a committed bouldering move. After that smooth sailing all the way.

Top crux move very nice.

The cave and overhang is quite fun and then some nice slab to the top.
17 | ★ Sardines (Unknown (2)) - with Geoff Cooper | 12m, 4 | Blue Mountains | ★★ Very Good | Sat 3rd Mar 2018
Used the crack which sets it around grade 15. Very nice climbing!
17 | ★★ Grandma's Wheelchair Direct - with UTS | 10m | Bangor West | ★ Good | Sun 5th Jul 2015
A fund start out of the cave then an ascent of rails.
17 | ★ Extinction Never Felt So Good - with Summa Smith | 10m, 4 | Mt Ku-ring-gai | ★ Good | Sun 19th Aug 2012
Amazing start (hard if you're short). The rest of the climb is average. I strayed to the right when the route went left after the last draw.
17 | ★ Balance and Crimp - with Ranger Dave | 7m, 3 | Middle Cove | ★★ Very Good | Thu 28th Mar 2013
An excellent thought provoking climb. VERY balancy with limited crimpers making it a well worth climb.
17 | ★ Python - with Rebecca Keys | 8m, 2 | Bangor West | ★ Good | Sat 22nd Sep 2012
17 18 | ★ Fingers - with Jennifer Evens | 12m, 5 | Mount Keira | ★ Good | Sun 24th Mar 2013
Not a 17, that's for sure. It runs in line with the entire grading system for Mt.K...sandbag! I would give it an 18 at least. Possibly because I could not find a much needed hold until AFTER i'd pumped out. Nice enough climb though once the flow was happening. had to use the left arete part way to get through it which is out of bounds. need to do it again to get the clean tick for lead.
17 18 | ★ Corner From Hell - with Sof | 15m | Mount Alexandra | ★★★ Classic | Sun 18th Jun 2017
Excellent holds all the way up it's just a matter of committing to the moves to get to them (and find them). This climb gets the old heart thumping!
17 | ★ Natie Head - with John Hollott | 8m | Joll's Bridge | ★★ Very Good | Sun 16th Oct 2016
Placed a 'jesus' cam in the head high ledge as the first carrot would've been a grounder otherwise. Attached the crux on the wrong side then took the obvious route and glided through it. No more carrots after the crux with a slow and steady top out around the tree and to the anchors. Had to tie in direct and bring the rope around the tree to avoid ring barking the tree in the lower. Excellent climb and worthy of its star.
17 | ★ Top Notch - with Phuong Ho | 8m, 3 | Mount Alexandra | ★ Good | Sun 19th Jul 2020
Found this more difficult than the registered grade. Had to haul on the 2nd draw to get through. Can someone confirm if there have been any holds broken on this route recently? The second half was quite fun on some amazing holds.
17 | ★ Casual Assassin - with Phuong Ho | 12m | Blue Mountains | ★ Good | Sat 7th May 2016
Got up on top of the overhang but couldn't figure out the sequence from there. Tried a few times before claiming it as a project. I'll be back to claim you! Good rock and some thought to the moves.
17 | Chacaltaya - with Mandy Leung | 20m, 8 | Wingello | ★ Good | Sat 26th Jan 2013
Very tricket start but after the 4th draw its an amazing walk in the park.
17 | ★ Piece of Piss Direct - with Susanna Rodriguez-Barba | 9m, 4 | Mount Keira | ★ Good | Sat 24th Nov 2012
Tricky moves getting out of the cave but after that nice holds and easy top out with a mantle.
17 | ★ Loose Lips Leeroy | 15m, 5 | Nowra | ★ Good | Sun 25th Mar 2012
Tricky at parts but good.
17 | ★ Burnum Burnum | 8m, 4 | Nowra | ★ Good | Sun 25th Mar 2012
Nice.
17 | ★ Downhill Demise | 15m, 7 | Mount Alexandra | ★ Good | Sat 6th Apr 2019
A corner start with a little footwork followed by a fun traverse and a committing head wall. A think the grades a little weak for such a strong climb.
17 | ★★ Happy Hogmanay - with Phuong Ho | 14m, 8 | The Sanctuary | ★★★ Classic | Sun 18th Mar 2018
Start was balancy with a few good pockets and ledges before getting to the bones of the climb and finding out that the move to the final legde didn't agree with me. Looked left and found a more appealing variant. Toes on the iron stone ledges and use all the awaiting holds. Had to climb further to the right by one move before being able to traverse across to the anchors. Variant route=AWESOMNESS!
17 | ★ R - with Geoff Cooper | 10m, 4 | Woy Woy | Average | Sat 23rd Dec 2017
Got up to the ledge and then couldn't figure out where to go (while tightly holding the flat undercling). Bailed.
17 | ★ Ultrafix - with Phuong Ho | 10m, 3 | Koorabar | ★ Good | Sun 24th Jul 2016
Stick clipped the first bolt as the opportunity for a dangerous decking is certainly there. Easy to pull through over the lip and onto the head wall but the problem is finding the solid holds which are well hidden.
17 | ★ Two Hour Interval - with Phuong Ho | 12m, 4 | Koorabar | ★★ Very Good | Sun 24th Jul 2016
From start to finish this climb certainly offers multiple challenges. To say it's tricky for the grade is an understatement. This climb is certainly worth the star and will test the nerves of anyone who gives it a crack.
17 | ★ Nose Lizard - with Phuong Ho | 10m, 5 | Koorabar | ★ Good | Sun 24th Jul 2016
A fun climb and worth a go but question the two dodgy home made bolts. These being the second and fourth on this route.
17 | ★★ Room With A View - with Marty Middlebrook | 10m, 7 | Elanora Heights | ★★ Very Good | Fri 1st Dec 2023
17 16 | ★★ Sweet Seduction in a Magazine - with Phuong Ho | 50m, 14 | Blue Mountains | ★★ Very Good | Sun 2nd Oct 2016
Lots of fixed hangers to place your draws. Excellent climb especially around the overhang (got to cut loose here). Due to the HIGH winds I extended the belay past the top out and to the ledge below (couldn't hear the cries of my awaiting partner over the wind). An excellent climb with some really fun moves. Worth a repeat.
17 16 | ★ Elite Election Rejection - with Matt Short | 7m, 2 | Dural | ★★ Very Good | Sat 2nd Dec 2017
WOW! I loved the final few moves on this climb. Sadly I had to hangdog it so I could chalk up my left hand for the sloper hold (a very humid day).

| 95m, 13 | Mt Gibraltar | ★★ Very Good | Sun 12th Nov 2017 | |||
The first pitch was brilliant with some finger jamming and laybacking than was accompanied with some committing vertical smearing. The second pitch was long and I mean long but only because it's slab and it took me much longer to send it. I had to rest off on one of this pitches draws so i could take my shoes off and give my toes a serious relief moment. Third pitch was quite a fun one with a little thinking and a small amount of commitment.

17 15 | ★ Better Than A Tummy Rub - with Dushy De Silva | 18m | Blue Mountains | ★ Good | Sat 22nd Jun 2019
A little stiff for the grade but some good fun moves in it.
17 | ★ D Sports Variant - with Kat | 15m | Mount Alexandra | ★★ Very Good | Sun 15th Dec 2019
A little stiff for the grade I think, more of a 18/19 in my books. Amazing climb though and can't wait to give it another crack. Love the crux!
