Ascents as sport by Philip Xunlix Ly

Hi, Im a boulderer and this has more than 5 moves. So I got pumped really badly

Send-train! Little bit of beta talk after the first run and small marking of foots, anchors were clipped! Definitely inherited some Elvis legs on the second bolt!

Cleaning the gear off from the crew's attempts!

Run up to shake off the arms from bouldering. Second time for cleaning.

After 4 sessions, finally ticked this after falling from the anchors 3 out of 4 times. Good climbing with nice kneebars and a lot of grunts

Two shots to figure out the beta (and tried to onsight this climb but can you do?). Next two shots were for the send! Actually liked climbing this, felt nice on the left hand crimps and right hand pinches. Just needs more traffic on this bad boy.

Lots of beta spray to get my boulder butt up this route. They werent joking about being beta intensive. Last shot of the day, resulted in me fluffing around in the handlebar and not clipping the anchors

The Easter weekend brought the treats! It was great working this over the months. I changed my beta over three times! Very steep, core intensive, and requires some tough mental work!

4x Shots this session. Nearly went on the 3rd go but instead of holding the left hand and right hand match before the anchor, slapped it hard and fell off.

4th shot did it all, minus the pre-ab workout at the end.

It feel like a mega boulder with everything for your body and legs!

New high point on this burn, almost made it to anchors but did not know any beta to the chains

Sussing out the climb, totally forgot the starting beta. Ended up coming off the two crimps and running out of steam.

Second shot was the magic one. Easily figured out what I had to do at the start and use my tallness to my advantage. Had plenty of pump to go straight for the anchors with a few kneebars and toe hooks. Felt great and good vibes with some friends.

First time sussing out this climb, had no idea what or where the holds were. (good ol' boulderer needs tick marks). Did not properly warm up my fingers or hands and suffered at the 4th bolt, didn't feel anything but pump.

Second time up, dialed down the beta whilst on the wall. Heaps of pump still from bouldering, a few grunts, a few tears, and bam! Up at the anchors

Sweet punchy moves that absolutely tear your skin apart. Been wanting to repeat this line with more finesse and technique (still grunted and growled). Discovered some tall beta that works for the second big move over the lip. Proud that this went on the 2nd try of the day.

Definitely an awesome climb with some crazy beta. Got this second go!

Did not lose fingers today! Sent on 4th go!
