At long last. One of these Blueys special that don't feel hard but yet take way too long to tick. The dyno was the crux thanks to my short (ish) ass...
This will (probably) never be a mega classic, but it's a fun little route

Great route. Meant be hard for the grade, but well worth it

Meant to be easy for the grade, but he bouldery style didn't suit me at the time. It took me a good few goes
Can pretty much be broken down in 2 two halves if you take the good rest at the break

26 | ★★★ Super Weak - with Geoff Johnston-Hall | 20m, 8 | Blue Mountains | ★★★ Mega Classic | Sun 21st May 2017
Another couple of goes today. Still need to work out the bottom crux, but everything else is now wired.
I should be able to do it it from the lower crux in one section, but will probably need to get fitter to piece everything together. Once I managed to remember how I did that crux that is...

26 | ★ You Did it Again - with Ben Jenga, Jason Smith | 25m | Blue Mountains | ★ Good | Sat 8th Oct 2016
the draws were up so gave it another go...still can't do the crux moves. Either I need to grow longer arms, or get stronger or improve my technic. I stand by my original assessment, hard for the grade.
Now that I tried it twice, it falls under the project category. Not sure how I feel about that!!

another cold Sunday morning. Actually colder than the previous week. 3 goes, but no cigar yet. Good progress though. One may even say I punted my second lap stopping after the crux moves; I'll blame it on the Arctic temperatures since I stopped feeling my fingers before even starting the crux section...may as well wait for winter to pass

26 | ★★ Circle of Doom - with Paul Frothy Thomson, Ben Jenga, Mitch Perkins | 15m, 8 | Blue Mountains | ★★ Very Good | Mon 3rd Oct 2016
Probably under-rated. This one packs a lot of climbing and quite a few tricks of the trade in a fairly short route.
Something worth going back onto, but that may well take some time on top of the 2 goes from today spent essentially to sort out the beta...

26 | ★★ Shocked - with Paul Frothy Thomson, Ben Jenga | 18m | Nowra | ★★ Very Good | Sat 24th Jun 2017
Rad, but whoever wrote the 26 grade against its name must be dyslexic. I'd say a v5 to start, then solid 23 climbing and probably a v6 before the final jugs. Hardly adds up to 26 in my book, but still a great route.
1 shot to decipher the moves. Succeeded in that except for the top crux.
0.5 shot as I just wanted to see if I could link the starting boulder problem (first 3 clips). The answer would have been yes if it wasn't for a foot slip. Doable though... Something to go back to for sure |

work in progress. All individual moves are fine, but I need to piece it together.
