Ascents as boulder by Laurence Judd

Hard to find where to sit to get off the ground. Once I was on it was over in 2 moves.

Saved by a great fist jam near the top. An enjoyable line that is much easier to jam then try and lay back!

Travserse was more enjoyable. Great holds throughout

A nice easy warm up

This one was not quite as fun as the left lines and also felt a bit easier.

This one seemed to share the same hard move as the other left line with a spicy mantle to boot.

Quite an unassuming line on 1st inspection, but climbing it was enjoyable and rewarding.

Stella session today, unlocked the last 2 moves i couldnt do last session and sent in two overlapping parts. Need to dial the new beta, then go for the send!

A really great line with some sick jams and good moves! Loved the whole journey and keen to jump on it again.

Got upside down, had a lot of fun but couldn't quite reach the good hold. I reckon it will go next session!

Without the beta this would be much harder. First few goes were quite a challenge, but with some good beta from Pete's struggles it went quite well. Felt about V3 for me.

Fun line that was higher than expected. On the easy side for the area, V2 in my opinion.

Not much going for this one. The two further right had a branch fort built over them, so they are currently unclimbable

Worked the first moves into where it meets broken flow. Straight forward but will need to be dialled in before linking up. Going to be a power endurance suffer fest.

A great boulder with lots to offer. Powerful, Precise and Technical This is in my opinion the hardest V6 I have sent to date. A crimpy test piece of the paddock.

Fell off the final hold on the send attempt and scored a flapper for my efforts! Felt dialled, just need that last 1% for the send. Brutal crimps from start to finish.

Back on this boulder, fingers definitely need to be conditioned to this rock again. Relearning the sequence and exploring different beta.

A hard working line, like most on this boulder.

Strong steep climbing. I think this is a bit harsh at V4.

Great fun, strong roof climbing.

Worked, a tricky middle section with easier start and finish.

Like this one. When you have an hour in the morning and mt barker summit is shut coz its too early, this place will do.

Tried a few times, seemed like it might be a dyno?

Got 1 finger onto the ledge of the dynamic move of Editors! Definitely getting more recovery at my rest position.

This one feels as hard as Scarred for Life atm. Still cant finesse the move to Warm up Downclimb.

Super smooth both go's just didnt have enough foot pressure on final LF and slid off. 2nd go was buttery.

Something to warm your body up on

Suffer fest after a intense session.

Almost dropped the first throw, but cleaned up my act for the 2nd throw.

2 attempts, ran out of fingers on the final edges.

A nice line through the middle, however some nicer holds alongside the ones specified in the description made it feel a bit easier. Definitely a grade harder than Wish and some good movement.

A push at the end, some epic heel hooks saved the day here. Very much my style.

Good warm up.

Felt much harder on my second go of this, fluked it with the flash last time! Once beta was remembered it went ok.

Nice warm up for Possession.

Bit of a novelty jump start found the reverse of Whealy easy to be quite a challenge. Grade was a feeling and may change on a fresh day

A very enjoyable sustained V1 with a show stopping mantle to finish!

Quite sustained with a heart breaker move towards the end if you dont have much in reserve.

A nice warm up line for the lower cave

Chossy roof may clean up with time. Some tough thought provoking moves at the top that will need some work.

A big first move into the traverse make for an interesting variant in the cave.

Was quite an easy one mover

Not sure if this was a lip eliminate or a total eliminate following the exact beta outlined in the write up. I climbed it using other small crimps, which made it much easier, and couldnt really avoid matching the sidepull without being at the lip as it was only a few cm from the lip.

Seems quite easy for the grade. With a better beta this time it flowed quite well.

All moves sorted other than the 'bust around' to big sidepull.

Bested me at the end of a big session on the beach. Will come back on a cooler day.

An overlooked high class line that deserves more traffic. Technical Overhung climbing 10cm off the ground.

A slippery lower section for feet inspired some above the head heel hooking to take the desperation out of the initial move.
