Ascents by mike having Distinct route

Really nice route. Tall-person-beta allowed me to stretch to a good hold, so for me felt easier than 7a (2022 Manikia guide book grade).

A bit more sustained than "Iptamenotripani", but no move was as hard as the other route‘s crux. Really nice route, though!

Very vegetated and dirty.

Beautiful. Start on overhanging short but very powerful tufa-section, followed by more or less vertical face-climbing on pockets.

Great piece of crimpy vertical climbing with a few delicate and balancy moves, especially up high. Nice bolting: safe, but climbing between bolts is necessary.

Probably checks out at 6c+. Unbelievably awesome steep climbing along one fat tufa-snake.

Supposedly new guide has it at that. Fitting, I guess. Nice technical wall-climbing. I like.

A short tough crux close to the end. Felt rather soft for the grade.

Good route with a short crux on two slippery and crimpy holds. Actually feels more overhanging than it looks from below.

Powerful start, harder for shorter people.

1st go. Not sure if the left-traverse at the 3rd bolt really is "on", that way it feels quite a bit easier.

SAC guide-book has it at 6c, while "Gute alte Zeit" is 6c+, which seems appropriate.

Bottom part is nice and sustained. After the crux there are still a few non-trivial moves, but always with good rests everywhere.

First 6c+, I think. 2nd try.

The sequence felt pumpy and hard. Good holds, bad feet, gruesome boulder. Still felt shaky.

Mantle down low can actually be easily done without an awkward alpine knee. The crux is kind of a one move wonder that can cost a lot of skin when repeatedly done... Best to directly aim for the good hold far back instead of the closer but worse sloper.

1st go. 4 quickdraws around the crux were already put up by another climber.

Did not see the "thank god"-sidepull at first.

Single overhanging boulder move on fairly good holds in the middle.

Of course I did misread the part around the third bolt again. Also needed to figure out a comfortable position to clip the bolt at/after the crux sequence.

At last found a solution for freeing the crux, but it's kinda low-percentage.

Almost onsight is still not onsight. Foot slipped on delicate traverse. Nice route.

Technikal + thin. Foothold broke

Crux-bulge was hard to read for me. Dod take ages until I saw the right hand hold with which it was actually quite easy to get over.

Awesome and steep crux on two-finger-pockets. After onsighting this sequence I went for a jug that was too slippery for me to hold on to. Excuse: wet and rainy weather.

Short and hard. The first third or half of the route flows quite easily, but then quite sustained mini-tufa-pulling until the top. Foot slipped shortly before reaching the anchor.

One sketchily set bolt kind of held me back here.

"Zwischen vielleicht und sicher nicht".

Could free all the moves with cheat-clipping second bolt (à la biscuit?). Nice ground fall potential with very hard moves up to somewhere after 2nd bolt, but really cool, technical moves on slippery footholds...

Did not yet find a solution for the crux at 3rd bolt. Quite far and thin. Rest is doable.

Not sure if tree trunk is on. Even with it, clipping the 3rd bolt safely seemed impossible for me. Very short, sustained and hard, but good route.

No chance to get to 2nd bolt and safely clip it. Don't like crux-starts. 😔

Felt like a very sketchy start, so I could not commit to really trying.

Route still needs more cleaning. Hit my belayer with quite a few rocks and consequently did not have it in me to finish this attempt.
