Honestly this was pretty chill, not sure why its the 22. Fun but not memorable

Aesthetic rock and a couple of really cool moves, but not sustained.

Needs a bit of a clean. Some really nice moves, but some really dirty rock. Rapped from the huge cave because the top out looked shit.

A hard undercut start, yields to big moves on huge ironstone jugs. Nice and long, but not much thought.

Seems a little silly that there's three remaining carrots, but they don't take away from the route much. One section seems to encroach a little on the route to the left

Crux was painful in the cold, but would be nicer in the sun. Really short crux then a ramble.

The low section was interseting but hard for the grade. Then the bloody roof was hugely powerful. I've done easier 23s. And above this fine but not special.

Probably the best route here. Killer line doesnt actually follow what you might expect from the bottom, but trust the bolts and head right.

Nice long route slowly increasing in difficulty. If you're technically good it might only be 6a

Much more interesting than expected. Finished at the anchor out left, but didn't really move under it, just clipped it from the natural line. Seems very height dependant as Claire found it much much harder with an extra reach

Spicy. That little link section was probably the hardest move, and also an interesting fall if you took it. But fun little thing to end the day, probably one more pitch than i neeeded.

For a rope

Quality problem solving. was really hard to onsight, but once you know the beta, it goes ok.

Got lost on my first go, ended up hanging on the rope to work it out.

Second shot i literally ran up in 2.5min. Strange world.

Indeed the move to the anchors is a bit dodgy, bolt positioning doesnt help. Some interesting moves, but not classic.

I went up and used a stickclip for the anchor before assessing the hidden holds. Straight back on for a clean lead, much better with a long draw on the anchor.

50th lap, warm down

If you move just 30cm into public pressure at the crux its nice and at the grade. If you try to stay strictly away from that route and right at the undercut its at least 22, desperate and unhappy.
