Ascents by Rob Medlicott having Distinct route

Didn't read the description and got told it was 18. Just got on the route and used a couple of jugs on the right. Stupidly contrived to stick to the crimps. These routes are too close together.

Pretty scary when you have to climb a slab in the dark with no headlamp to clean it...

Great little route. Pretty solid at the grade.

Nice, fun moves. Felt like a nice onsight.

One cool move but these are very short

Bit sustained the the middle and a bit wanderry but not bad

Definitely easier than 18 and really well bolted. I like topping out too.

Pulled off a few loose blocks at the start. Pretty cruisy route.

This route was a really cool intro to Point Perp. Again a bit spoogey but climb really well.

Good moves and features at the bottom and then it gets pretty thin, solid 18.

Had no idea what this route was supposed to do.... Wandered right and left and yet the bolts were all right in the middle of the face. I clipped all the bolts from 1m each side of the bolt line, never again

Not fun, not even certain that i climbed this correctly. There were bolts all over the place

Thought i'd do something easy, while was over here belaying Pommy. It was long and fun for the grade.

And and down climb for warm ups. Climbs much better than i expected, the only thing wrong with it, is its lack of metres.

Tricky start, i think its harder than BTBS next to it.

Toprope for Arlo, started to feel the burn on this, after laps of Chippers and BB

So after failing on this last time, i managed it this time but its not 18! The crux has some small holds!

Warm ups

Gets a 'good' for the climbing but the rock is shithouse and the start gets really dirty due to the slabby ledge covered in dirt/sand! Couldn't pull the start at first with an inch of dirt on the holds...

Had to work out a way of doing the crux move without the left leg, which was a little awkward but it worked in the end. Just happy to be out and to climb something i hadn't done before.

Unfortunately got crossed up coming over the bulge at the bottom and had a rest. Not a very fun route.

Fell off the hard move at the first bolt. These routes all srem sandbagged

Had a foot slip and a decent little fall, otherwise made all the moves. Tricky in lower section, past the second bolt. Not much fun.

Didn't enjoy this for warm up, maybe a tad stiff at 18. I think it was harder than the 19 beside it.

Damp

Wished i had've known that this started up on a skinny ledge....we had no screw gates or xlings with us. Rock quality wasn't great and it felt way harder than 18. Flakey underclings and sidepulls were full of cicadas so i couldn't get my hands in...
