Sad to say, but i climbed the route today again since a while and it’s not anymore a 5.11b because of, oh wonder, a bunch of new holds, especially footholds. The crux is way more easier now because of new big footholds on the right. The name of the Route was the program and builded up the character of the Route. But there is an easy to reach crimp now above the pockets and that’s the end of the sequence also. For me felts even easier than kurzo y knackigo now and that’s a 5.10d. That’s why i would recommend 5.10d for this Route to. I would do an announcement also to be more careful with all the routes in Peña Maria and San Cristobal in general. This limestone here is very very soft and sensitive and easy to chip or manipulate. If a routesetter left some plants in a wall than for some reasons, for example to protect the natural character of the wall and also to show where the way is going. So please don’t change it with tools, don’t pull out plants or whatever. If you’re not able to manage a climb, just try another route or do some training.
